An Embarrassment of Riches

The feedback on my ConneXions workshop is starting to come it and it is both good and… well, challenging. I have so much content that the advice I am getting is to break it into several one-day workshops.

The other feedback is exactly what I was both expecting and most concerned about. I need more exercises that get people moving and in their bodies. Kim Illig just gave me lots of ideas like using some ecstatic dance to demonstrate meditation.

So my work has just become more complex. I now need to break this workshop into four or five distinct workshops:

  1. The 2-3 hour teaser – give them a taste of everything but that is all/li>
  2. Ground rules and Waking Up part 1/li>
  3. Waking Up Part 2/li>
  4. Growing Up/li>
  5. Showing Up

I just love a challenge like this. I think I am going to go take a nap!
